Nokia is rolling out a new Android Oreo 8.1 update to the Nokia 3.1. The rollout started on thursday and is now rolling to mostly every Nokia 3.1 unit in the country. Nokia 3.1 which is based Android One, is getting every single update very quickly, despite the launch in the last month. It was launched along with the Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 2.1 running Android 8.0 Oreo in India.

The Android 8.1 Oreo update is rolling via OTA (over-the-air) and will be available to all devices in next few days. The update weighs around 1.12 GB and will update the firmware version of the device.

The update carries many new changes along with the usual bug fixes and refinements in the Android 8.1 Oreo version. Users have received a redesigned power button, a fix for the hamburger emoji, new UI for Settings menu and much more. HMD Global has already promised to rollout the Android P 9.0 for the Nokia 3.1 later this year.

Additionally, Nokia 3.1 carries a 5.2 inch LCD display with the resolution of 720 x 1400 pixel. It carries, 3 GB RAm, MediaTek 6750 chipset and 32GB storage. It has received a 12 megapixel camera on the back side while 8 megapixel is available on the front side.
