Nokia 9 Pureview officially unveiled with Penta Camera Module, 6GB RAM, Android One for $699 (~INR 49653)

After a wait of over a couple of months, Nokia has finally unveiled its new Nokia 9 Pureview flagship device. The new smartphone from HMD Owned company carries first ever Penta camera module aka 5 cameras on the rear side. There are several other new thins that has happened for the first time. Nokia 9 PureView is the first ever device to power high-end specification in an Android One device.

It was already revealed in various rumors and leaks that Nokia would be launching a device with 5 cameras. Although, after the rumors, the actual device named Nokia 9 PureView has launched. Nokia 9 has five Zeiss cameras on the rear side with some sensors.

Nokia 9 Pureview 5 camera details:

  • 2x RGB color sensors as like of other devices
  • 12 MP 3x monochrome black and white sensors

Unlike other companies, Nokia is using all its cameras at the same time to grasp more details and more depth. It will give more information about the object and will allow more light. Overall, it will shoot good photos in low light conditions and will generate 1200 planes of depth in each shot. Even though, it will drastically improve the bokeh effect on the device.

Nokia 9 Specifications

Nokia has incorporated Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with 6GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It comes powered with Google’s Android One program making it more reliable and ready for future updates without any bloatware.

It hosts a display of 5.99-inch QHD+ pOLED panel with on-screen fingerprint sensors. In order to charge its 3320 mAh battery via USB-C, Nokia has added Qi fast charging. Moreover, the device comes with water and dust protect aka IP67 protected.

Customers can own the Nokia 9 PureView for the price of $699 in limited quantities.
