Nokia may soon launch Nokia X6 (6.1 Plus) in Asian markets including India

Nokia X6 aka Nokia 6.1 Plus was launched in China just three months back and within a short period of time, the device has been quite popular among Chinese audience. The smartphone’s success in the Chinese market has made a pitch for the global launch. According to some retail sources, the device will soon be launched in Asia including India and Malaysia.

Nokia X6 recently passed bluetooth certification in Russia that confirms smartphone’s imminent launch in the Russian market. The sources indicate that the smartphone will soon make its way to the Indian market, however, the official release dates have not been decided. It is highly speculated that the device will be launched in the Indian and Malaysian market sometime in August this year. Therefore, we could expect the device to be available for purchase as early as September.

Nokia X6 (6.1 Plus) gets hold of some decent specs in the mid-range Android smartphone category. The smartphone comes with a 5.8-inch display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. It has three RAM variants that include 3GB, 4GB and 6GB option with two internal storage options of 32GB and 64GB respectively.  Both storage variants of the smartphone are expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC.

In the camera segment, Nokia X6 (6.1 Plus) boasts a dual rear camera setup (16MP + 5MP) along with a 16MP front-facing camera for better selfie experience. The smartphone packs a 3,060mAH decent battery under its hood. The handset runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
