After launching Nokia 6 in China company is looking forward to launch its voice assistant named “Viki”. Nokia’s Viki will directly compete with Google Assistant and Siri.
Nokia has filed a trademark in the European Union for the name ‘Viki’. Viki is described in the trademark as “software for the creation and monitoring of mobile and web assistants working with digital knowledge and combining all data sources into a single chat and voice-based interface”. However company doesn’t mention word Virtual Assistant but whole description makes it clear that Viki will be the Virtual Assistant.
Earlier few days, Huawei had announced that it will be including Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant in the next flagship that it will release in the U.S. Siri is used in Apple iPhones since 2011 and Google Assistant is introduced with New Pixel phones. Moreover, Samsung is rumored to bring Bixby voice assistant on Samsung Galaxy S8.
