The Nokia-branded smartphones are doing great under HMD Global. It’s been just over a year since their global availability and they are already admired by the masses. Nokia smartphones are also popular in competitive markets like India. Also, most of the global variant of Nokia smartphones debut in this country first. That is what is expected to happen with the new Nokia X7.

The Nokia X7 was first unveiled in China a month ago. The phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB RAM. The wow factor of this device is its 6.18-inch FHD+(2246 x 1080 pixels) HDR notched display. Also, this is what Nokia Mobiles India is teasing on their social media.
Further, the Nokia X7 comes with a dual camera setup which includes a 12MP primary sensor with OIS and a 13MP telephoto lens. The notch houses another 20MP snapper for selfies and video calls. The Chinese variant of X7 runs on Android Pie with no Google Play services. However, the global variant will be under the Android One programme.
Also, the global name of the X7 is still skeptical. Based on previous rumors, it will be called Nokia 8.1 and will be announced in India on 28th November for ₹23,999. However, take this information with a pinch of salt as there’s no official word from the company yet.
