Every year, when the latest version of Android comes out smartphone manufacturers begin their efforts to roll out the latest update to let their users have a taste of the new. Android 7.0 Nougat was released a couple of weeks ago and while a few upcoming smartphones will ship with the latest version of Android, existing devices are not too far behind. HTC had promised us that the HTC 10, M9 and A9 will get a taste of Android Nougat as soon as Google revealed the latest version will be called by that name and it looks like that day is not too far away.
According to this image shared by HTC on their Twitter account, the HTC 10 is slated to get Android 7.0 by the end of this year followed by the HTC M9 and HTC A9. Not that it will be the unlocked variants that get these updates first followed by the carrier variants.
