OnePlus 6 has been successful device for the company and 6T is all set to come in. But the best part is that company is rolling out latest security patches and Android Updates regularly even on the previous gen OnePlus 5 and 5T. Now in latest OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T rolls out open beta update to enhance camera.
This update will be received through open beta channel. So if you are a part of the open beta program then you will receive the update. OnePlus 5 has been receiving Open Beta 18, while OnePlus 5T is on version 16. Though, both the updates have the same changelog.
The changelog is as follows:
- Fixes beauty mode and improves stability of portrait mode for the front camera
- Improved stability of the Weather app
- General bug fixes and improvements
When we look at the changelog it is easy to understand that the changes are not very prominent. But one thing to consider is that the beauty mode is fixed. And this update will also enhance the stability of the front camera. The portrait mode for the front camera will be better. So now, clicking selfie’s will become better.
As this is an open beta program, so if you want to use these feature you should on open Beta channel. If you are one then, I am sure you must have received the OTA update. But if you haven’t received it then you can even check the firmware files. And then install the update directly on your device.
