We almost reached the end of the year and all the flagship smartphones from different OEMs are already announced. But, here comes OnePlus 5T out of blue from OnePlus. The OnePlus 5T has been under the leaks and rumours radar for awhile now. Earlier today, we even got to see the official leaked teaser image. But, now the pre-order page of this upcoming smartphone popped up.
The pre order page is from Oppomart which describes all the specifications including the price. According to that webpage, the OnePlus 5T will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The device will come in two configurations like the OnePlus 5 one with 6 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM and another with 8GB RAM / 128GB ROM.
It also retains the same dual camera setup which consists of 20 MP and 16 MP sensors. The major change is the screen which is a 6 inches QHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Finally, the page lists the OnePlus 5T at $549 and also says that delivery will be by the end of November.
The next set of leaked images is an official OnePlus 5T product page from oneplus.net . The webpage clearly describes the slogan for this upcoming device which is “Larger Screen. Same Footprint.” This roughly translates that the dimension of this phone will be similar to OnePlus 5T but a larger screen.
This is great as all other flagships have the same bezel less 18:9 displays. Last year, the OnePlus 3T was announced in November, so it will be the same for OnePlus 5T. What are your thoughts on this upcoming device from OnePlus ? Comment below.
