A few weeks back some details about the upcoming handset from Oppo were revealed. The device has recently received the certifications as well where its name was leaked as Oppo A5. Finally, Oppo has today introduced the device officially in the Chinese market. It is the latest and undoubtedly one of the best budget handsets from the house of Oppo. Being a budget device we are expecting a huge sales figure for it. So without wasting any time let’s know more about it.
Oppo A5 comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450(64 bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU for Gaming. For now, Oppo has unveiled it in one variant only i-e 4GB RAM+64GB ROM and luckily it supports expandable storage up to 256GB’s via micro-SD card. The handset runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. In the front, there is a mammoth 6.2(inch) HD+ IPS Screen with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 2.5D Glass, and 87.8% screen-to-body ratio.
In the Camera department, it houses a 13MP+2MP rear snapper with Aperture f/2.2, LED Flash whereas in the front it has an 8MP selfie shooter with AI Beauty features. The thickness of the device is 8.2mm and the dazzling texture on its rear panel looks eye-catching. Running Oppo A5 is an enormous 4230mAh battery. It will be made available in Blue and Pink colors for a price tag of 1500 CNY(15,000 INR roughly).
