New renders of Oppo A8 unleashes its rear design and color variants

Oppo is not stopping by just its Reno 3 series, the company is also working on Oppo A8 smartphone. After the recent render leaks via a Weibo user, the Oppo A8 has once again appeared revealing its rear design and color variants.

According to the newly leaked renders, the device will come in three different colors or red, green and gradient white. We can also see the triple rear camera with an LED flash present on the rear side of the device. There’s also a fingerprint scanner for easy authentication. The volume rockers are present on the left side of the device, and the power button on the right. Apart from the rear design, there’s no information provided about the display and other hardware.

Oppo A8 appears to be a mid-range device according to the design and the specs, which were leaked via TENAA a few days ago.

Oppo A8 packs a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display having an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. There’s an octa-core processor with 2.3GHz clocking speed and is coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. There’s also a slot for expanding storage using a MicroSD card.

In Optics, the smartphone feature a triple camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel secondary and another 2-megapixel camera. There will be an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calling. A leak via TENAA also reveals about its 4230 mAh battery and the presence of Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS.

There’s no confirmation about the upcoming device from Oppo. But we hope the new smartphone will be announced very soon along with Oppo A91.
