Oppo, the subsidiary of world’s largest electronics firm BBK Electronics, might soon launch an affordable smartphone. Since, a device namely OPPO A85 has just got certified from TENAA. Implies, the launch of device in Chinese market is around the corner.
We’re lucky to obtain some key features that’d be seen on OPPO A85 from TENAA database. As per the certification authority, the device flaunts an HD+ nearly bezel-less 5.7 inch display. At its heart lies a speedy octa-core processor with clock frequency of whopping 2.5GHz. Though the exact detail of the SoC used is unknown, it’d be an high-end MediaTek chipset. Probably the MediaTek Helio P25 itself. The device packs a decent 4GB RAM, more than enough for smooth handling of energy demanding tasks.
The A85 is supposed to be equipped with a 13MP primary shooter. On the front resides an 8MP selfie camera. A 3090 mAh capacity non-removable battery supplies juice for running the device. It boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box, with OPPO’s ColorOS layered on top. Nevertheless, it’s quite disappointing that the device doesn’t possess a fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone will be available in two colors initially – Gold and Grey. However, whether a global variant of OPPO A85 is on the card or not is currently unknown.
