After lots of rumours and leaks, Oppo finally announces F5 in Philippines. It comes with 20 MP selfie camera which uses AI for beautification. Also the smartphone comes with face unlock and bezel less 18:9 display. Oppo is suppose to unveil this device in India on November 2.
Under the hood, it is powered by Mediatek MT6763T which is a surprise as the rumours suggested that it will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 . It sports a 6 inches FHD+ bezel less 18:9 display on the front becoming the first Oppo smartphone to bear it. Due to which the fingerprint reader is located at the back. The Oppo F5 comes in three variants based on their memory configurations. The lower variant also known as F5 Youth will have RAM less than 4GB as the exact specification is not available yet. The second one features 4 GB RAM / 32GB ROM and the third one comes with 6GB RAM / 64GB ROM.
However, all the three variants are backed by the same 3,200 mAh battery. They also have the same camera configuration, a 16MP primary shooter and a 20 MP secondary snapper for selfies. The selfie camera can even be used to unlock the phone. The camera uses AI to produce wonderful selfies and surprisingly it also has portrait mode. Finally, all the three variants run on Color OS 3.2 based on Android Nougat.
