Oppo R17 that was launched back in August 2018, finally starts getting an Android security patch for the month of July 2020. The update comes with the build number CPH1879EX_11_F.07/CPH1879_11_F.07 in India.
Along with July 2020 security patch, the update also improves the system stability. It also includes the wireless printing feature in which PDF files can be printed wirelessly. You can now sync the volume level of the Bluetooth device to your phone with this new update. Camera quick-launch function is also added in Oppo R17 with this update. Added the Camera quick-launch function: Double-pressing the “Volume +” or “Volume -” buttons quickly launch the camera when the screen is off. (Tap the icon in the upper-right corner of the camera screen, enter “Settings” and then turn on this function.)
The update of Oppo R17 is currently rolling out in India. If you did not get it right now, then don’t panic it will reach you in some time. You can also manually check the update by going through the Settings> System Updates> Check for Updates. Before you start installing the update on your Oppo R17, we recommend you to charge your phone up to at least 50%.
