HTC One M7 Developer and Unlocked Variants Receiving Sense 6.0

HTC is rolling out Sense 6.0 update to its Developer and unlocked variants of HTC One M7. After certification phase now update is rolling out on device. HTC’s Product manager Leigh Momii has Confirmed via Twitter that Update is now rolling out Over The Air.

The 667.15MB update brings HTC’s Sense 6 overlay, Extreme Power Saving mode, smoother scrolling in BlinkFeed and much more. Update incldues all the features of the Sense 6 UI which was launched along with the launch of HTC One M8. It includes a refined Blinkfeed, overhauled camera app, and more.

HTC One M7 locked version will also get update to Sense 6.0 as currently its in the certification stage. After full testing of the update with carriers it will be rolled out in next some few weeks or months.

Expect Oppo N1 Mini by June End

There have been rumors of a mini version of the 5.9″ smartphone, the Oppo N1. And if the rumors are to be further believed, a mini version of the device is in production and you can expect it to be out by June end.

News from Chinese website Laoyaoba claim that the device will either be powered by Samsung Exynos 5422 or a MediaTek MT6592 CPU and will be available in both LTE and non-LTE versions. And something that would amaze most people is that this so called ‘mini’ version of the phone would measure 5″ that is quite big for a ‘mini’ version.

This mini smartphone could prove to be very successful in the western market considering its not-so-big size if Oppo manages to pack in features at a reasonable price. Also if the rotating camera is present in the N1 Mini, it could give its sales a boost. An for people who want something more on the inside, Oppo N2 too is in production and will be released anytime later this year.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S Set To Be Unveiled On June 12

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is all set for being revealed, the date for its announcement being confirmed as June 12. This date was also confirmed by Samsung Mobile head J.K. Shin who recently said in a interview to Wall Street Journal that Samsung will be unveiling a range of tablets on June 12.

The 10.5″ device will have a full AMOLED display with a great resolution of 2560X1600 that will clock in about 287ppi. The device supposedly has an 8MP camera on its back an a 2MP camera on its front. Flash on the rear and the front will however be missed. Samsung also plans to release this tablet’s younger and elder siblings. The 8.4″ version codenamed Klint which will have a screen density of 359 ppi while the elder sibling named Warhol will have a 13.5″ 227ppi screen which is by far the only tablet to have an LCD screen.

The device will be powered by Exynos 5420 CPU with 1.9 GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 cluster and 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 cluster along with 3GB of RAM. The device is expected to run on Android KitKat 4.4.2.

Karbonn has unveiled their new smartphone, the Karbonn Titanium Hexa in the Indian market.

The new smartphone dons a 5.5″ scratch resistant display unit with a resolution of 1290X1080 pixels that gives it its Full HD status. The device is powered by a hexa-core CPU on a MediaTek MT6591 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz along 2GB RAM which is quite impressive. A 13MP autofocus camera on the back with flash and a 5MP camera on the front for all the selfie enthusiasts. The device runs on a 2050mAh Li-Po battery which gives you enough time to play with all the apps on the phone. The device has 16GB internal memory which is expandable upto 32GB.

Currently, the device is being offered for Rs. 16,990 which is about $283. Pre-orders for the phone are currently being taken online at Amazon India, the sales beginning a week later by 20th may.

Micromax has proven out to be a good smartphone manufacturer keeping in mind the feature rich low budget phones it has been shelling out. And a new addition to this series of quality handsets is the Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 that has recently been made official in the Indian smartphone market.

The Indian smartphone manufacturer is shelling out the 5″ smartphone with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along 1GB RAM. In detail let’s understand What is HTC Motion Launch?

In actual its a cool new feature to interact with the new HTC One (M8) handset without actually turning the display on. In other words when the One (M8)’s screen is off, the user can wake the device up with a simple double tap, navigate to a certain app with a swipe, or launch the camera with the aid of the volume buttons. Here are few features that can be performed:

Picking up the phone in portrait orientation and tapping twice on the display will turn the screen on.
Swiping from left to right will turn the screen on and go open BlinkFeed.
Swiping from right to left will open the main home screen.
Swiping from the bottom up will open whatever screen the phone was on when it went to sleep.
Swiping the top down will open voice dialing.
Picking up the phone in landscape orientation and pressing the volume button will open the camera app.

Samsung Galaxy S5 With QHD Display Packs Snapdragon 805 As Per Hong Kong Pricing Database

Here is one more leak of Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G906S QHD display variant which shows that it will be packed with Snapdragon 805 processor along with 5.1 inch Display. These days we are also getting lot of rumors for the upcoming Galaxy S6.

As per the latest leak via listing over Hong Kong Pricing Database, Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with QHD display (2560×1440), Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB RAM, 16MP camera, and a yet unheard of Android 4.4.3 KitKat. It will support 128 GB of external memory. Samsung is prepping a more powerful version of the Galaxy S5 in the SM-G906.

The phone is priced at a $647 US (5,020 Hong Kong dollars), which doesn’t seem too unrealistic.
