If you are planning to pick one then believe me you need this story badly for the right conclusion. Our Comparison would be classified into 6 departments based on Design, Display, Camera, Performance, and Battery. So without making any delay let’s get started.

Design

The design is all about how your device looks, what premium materials are employed to build it. Pocophone F1 comes with a Metal frame while the rear panel is constructed out of a polycarbonate material. The handset in overall looks solid and will be made available in a variety of options including a normal variant with a plastic back and a special “Armored Edition” which has a rubberized finish. On the other hand, OnePlus 6 uses an alluring design with a curved rear panel constructed out of Glass.

OnePlus 6 looks super premium and can be easily compared to any other flagship device including the Note 9 or iPhone X when it comes to looks. The device is offered with different design finish including the Avengers Edition, Midnight Black, and Mirror Black. In this department, OnePlus 6 is simply superior to the Poco F1. It is a point which can act as a game changer for Pocophone F1 VS OnePlus 6 comparison.

Display

Poco F1 houses a massive 6.18(inch) IPS Display with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels and for protection, it makes use of Gorilla Glass 3 solution. Like any other top-end device it also has a notch in the front and at the bottom, it also has a considerable amount of chin which makes up to 82.2% of Screen-to-body ratio. OnePlus 6 offers a great 6.28(inch) Optic AMOLED Display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and for protection, it uses Gorilla Glass 5.

It also has notch but when compared to Poco F1 the Display quality is far better. AMOLED panel on OnePlus 6 is brighter in direct sunlight and being an OLED screen it offers super deep blacks and great contrast. Poco F1’s screen is not bad at all but comparatively offers less brightness and uses the way old Gorilla Glass 3. OnePlus 6’s Display is the clear winner here with even better 83.8% of Screen-to-body ratio.

Camera

Poco F1 comes with a Dual 12MP+5MP Camera setup and offers an Aperture of f/1.9 on the primary sensor, whereas, in the front, a 20MP selfie shooter is given. OnePlus 6 offers a Dual 16MP+20MP Camera set up in the rear with an Aperture of f/1.7 on the primary sensor. Both devices are great for clicking pictures and the dynamic range is also very similar on the two. OnePlus 6 has OIS+EIS while the Poco F1 only offers EIS.

The video quality on OnePlus 6 is great and comparatively better than the contenders. You can take 1080p as well as 4K footage on both but Poco F1 doesn’t offer any sort of stabilization in the 4K mode. OnePlus 6 can even record both 4K and 1080p videos at whooping 60fps. When it comes to clicking photos both devices are more than enough though in video segment OnePlus 6 is a clear winner with Stabilization support, more frame rates and in general, it delivers brighter results. Portrait shots from selfie and rear cameras of Poco F1 are in general better than OnePlus 6’s. For still photos you can pick any of the two, however, in video department OnePlus 6 is a clear winner.

Performance

Poco F1 and OnePlus 6 both comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-Core processor coupled with an Adreno 630 GPU for gaming. Both devices are offered in optional 6GB/8GB RAM variants. The two devices are also available in different storage options: 64GB/128GB/256GB’s. The performance of the two smartphones is almost identical.

They both run high-end games with an ease at highest settings. Poco F1 has a little advantage here as it uses Liquid cooling technology. RAM management on the two is also appreciable, however, we felt that Poco F1 needs some improvements as MIUI kills background tasks quickly. For the performance department, it is a tie between them.

Battery

Poco F1 houses a massive 4000mAh battery with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 whereas the battery on OnePlus 6 is a little smaller at 3300mAh. OnePlus has an advantage of Dash Charging over the Poco F1 and at present Dash Charge is one of the fastest charging tech available on the planet. It depends on personal preference, a user may prefer a bigger battery device whereas another user might prefer a device with Super fast charging speeds and a smaller battery capacity. The most important aspect of today generation in Pocophone F1 VS OnePlus 6 comparison.

Final Verdict

Both devices have Fingerprint Scanners on the rear and both supports Face Unlock. Although Poco has a small advantage here as it sports an IR sensor which delivers a more reliable face unlocking experience. OnePlus 6 has its own pros as it comes with water repellent technology. According to us, if you are looking for the best smartphone overall among the two then our vote would go to OnePlus 6 but if you have a strict budget of 20-22K than nothing comes across Pocophone F1. The price for the OnePlus 6 starts at 34,999 INR whereas for Pocophone the price starts at 20,999 INR which is literally unbelievable. This is our Pocophone F1 VS OnePlus 6 comparison.
