Xiaomi launched its new smartphone that is Xiaomi Mi Max 2 in China. The phone has come in Gold colour. The new Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a massive screen and big battery as its highlight features. It is available in two storage models that are:
- 64GB priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 16,000), and
- 128GB storage priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,000).
Display and Design
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 come with the 6.44 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. The phone has a display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with a pixel density of 342 ppi. The dimensions measures at 174.1 x 88.7 x 7.6 mm (6.85 x 3.49 x 0.30 in) with a weight of 211 g (7.44 oz). The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
Hardware and Software
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs on the MIUI 8 user interface based on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset and Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. It supports Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has a 4 GB of RAM. It packs 64GB /128 GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
Camera and Battery
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2, packs a 12 Megapixel primary camera and 5 Megapixel secondary camera for shooter selfies and video calling. The primary camera is capable of 2160p@30fps, 720p@120fps. It includes Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The device consists of Li-Ion 5300 mAh capacity with the Non-removable battery. It has a feature of Fast battery charging (Quick Charge 3.0).
