The Xiaomi launched its new Entry Level Android Phone in India e.i. Xiaomi Redmi 4. It is available in Gold, Dark Gray, Silver and Matte Black colour variant. The phone has three variant which has priced at:
- 2GB RAM/ 16GB- Rs. 6,999,
- 3GB RAM/ 32GB- Rs. 8,999, and
- 4GB RAM/ 64GB- Rs. 10,999.
Display and Design
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with the 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. It has a display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with a pixel density of 296 ppi. The dimensions measures at 141.3 x 69.6 x 8.9 mm (5.56 x 2.74 x 0.35 in) with a weight of 156 g (5.50 oz). The display will be protected with 2.5D covered glass protection.
Hardware and Software
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) based on MIUI 8. It in-built Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 435 chipset Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. It has a spot of Adreno 505 GPU. The phone has 2 GB/ 3 GB/ 4 GB of RAM. It packs a 16 GB/ 32 GB/ 64 GB of internal memory that can be expandable up to 256 GB via Micro SD card.
Camera and Battery
As far as the camera are concerned, it packs 13 Megapixel primary camera and 5 Megapixel secondary camera for selfies and video chats. The primary camera capable of 1080p@30fps video recording. It includes Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama, phase detection autofocus, LED flash. The powerhouse of the phone is Li-Po 4100 mAh capacity with the Non-removable battery. It has a feature of Fast battery charging which is quite superb.
