After the success of Quick Charge 3.0, Qualcomm is going to announce the Quick Charge 4.0 which is going to be 6X -8X faster than the Quick Charge 1.0.
As per the company, Quick Charge 3.0 is four times faster than conventional charging and is designed to charge twice as fast as Quick Charge 1.0 and 38 percent more efficient than Quick Charge 2.0.
So similarly, if new rumors are to be believed then QC 4.0 ,the maximum power is adjusted to 28W which is 18 W in case of QC 3.0. The QC 4.0 is designed to 5V / 4.7A ~ 5.6A and 9V /3A, adjusted to a voltage 10mV.

Qualcomm is going to announce Quick Charge 4.0Â on 17th Oct in Hong-Kong.
Even Oppo has managed to draw find a VOOC technology which allows a 2500 mAh battery to full charge from 0 percent in just 15 minutes. They are going to implement similar technology in Oppos R9S.
Hope QC 4.0 is going to give similar or better results. Currently, nothing is confirmed officially, So take it as a pinch of salt.
