Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 speculated for launch on December 4

Qualcomm is always a bit late in launching new chipset for the mobile devices. Last year, it launched the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with an incredible increase in the speed and efficiency. Similarly, this time also we are expecting a huge improvement in teh Snapdragon 8150. It’s already been in new from past several months, it has been teasing alongside the major upcoming Android devices.

In the latest news from Qualcomm, then it is speculated to be coming on December 4th. At a Qualcomm Technology Summit, the US-based chip maker is expected to unleash the most awaited Snapdragon 8150 SoC. Well, the things have not been confirmed as of now, but right now all roads are leading to the launch of the new chipset. The invites sent to Chinese delegates reads as, “Dare to be the first 5G mobile experience.”

It has already little late, as Huawei has launched it Kirin 980 with 5G support and dual NPUs, while Apple is already here with A12 with huge performance shift. Even the Korean giant has launched the competitive Exynos processor in the market a few months ago. Now, Qualcomm is left for the launch of teh next generation Snapdragon chipset.

The new chipset will be based on the 7nm process with eight cores in total. There will be a single core with 2.84 GHz, while the three medium ones will be clocked at 2.4 GHz. The remaining efficient cores will remain at 1.78 GHz leading to the more efficient environment during idle times. It remains uncovered, but we as per reports it will get Adreno 640 with a gradual shift in performance.

as far as the compatibility is concerned, then it is expected to launch with the Samsung Galaxy S10 early next year.

Right now, fingers crossed, we can’t say anything more than this, you guys have to wait and watch.
