Realme 2 Pro starts receiving May 2020 Security patch update

Realme is effectively rolling out new security patches every month to almost every mid-range and high-end smartphone. Improving update frequency will positively affect the company’s after-sales support. After bringing the latest security patch on Realme 6i and C3, Realme is rolling out the same for Realme 2 Pro.

Realme is gradually rolling out a May 2020 security patch for Realme 2 Pro in India. The update bearing the firmware version RMX1801EX_11_C.31 is rolling out bringing the latest security patch and few other fixes. The update weighs over 2.44 GB in size.

The OTA update is rolling out in batches and it may take some time to reach out to each unit. The update improves the lagging problem of the sliding status bar.

We suggest you switch to a WiFi network to save your carrier data. Also, charge your device up to at least 50% for the smooth update installation.
