Realme 5 and 5s starts receiving December Security Patch with ColorOS 6.0.1 based system update

Realme is pushing a new system update for both Realme 5 and 5s. The firmware versions will bring more stability and the December security patch for both the devices. The update is currently rolling out in a staged manner for all the users. However, the series can even flash the new update by downloading from the source link below.

ColorOS 6.0.1 based firmware version RMX1911EX_11_A.23 is now available for Realme 5. It packs the December Security patch and carries several bug fixes for better system stability. the update weighs over 2.55GB in size.

Similarly, Realme 5s is receiving ColorOS 6.0.1 based firmware version RMX1911EX_11_A.23. It weighs around 2.55GB and features the same changes as the Realme. The updates for both devices are aimed to enhance security and system stability.

The users either need to wait for the official OTA or can directly flash it via the system updater.

Realme 5 and 5s Specs

The Realme 5 and 5s features Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. Both the smartphones feature 3/4 GB RAM and 32/64/128GB storage variants.

The Realme 5 packs a 12-megapixel primary lens, 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel depth sensor. However, the Realme 5s features a new 48-megapixel camera along with the same sensors on the rear side.

Realme 5 is retailing for the starting price of Rs 8,999. Whereas, the realme 5s starts at Rs 9,999.
