Realme is updating it’s all devices every month by providing the security updates. After rolling out March and April security update, the May 2020 security patch update is now rolling out for Realme 5i in India. A few days back, the company has already rolled the May 2020 Security patch on Realme 5. Realme 5S, Realme C1, Realme 2, Realme 6, Realme 3 and 3i, Realme 2 Pro, Realme 6i, and C3.

Talking about the update, it weighs 2.6 GB in size and comes with general bug fixes which were reported last month on Google community forums. As the old reported bugs were fixed, here’s the new It will also improve the overall security of the system and enhances stability too. The Changelog of the update is mentioned below.

The update is rolling out in phased manners, which means that a set of random users will start getting the update now. After the successful verification of the update, all the users will start receiving it. The May 2020 security patch comes with an RMX2030_11_A.20 firmware version.
To check the update manually, open the Settings menu on your smartphone, and navigate to software updates. We also suggest you switch to a WiFi network to avoid carrier data costs.
In case, if the update is not available on your device and you can’t wait, the OTA file is available to download from the below link. After downloading, you need to flash the OTA update manually.
Note: If you know how to flash an OTA file manually then only use this method otherwise wait for the update notification on your device.
