Realme X2 and X2 Pro starts receiving December Security Patch update

After releasing the December security patch for Realme 5 and Realme 5s. The Oppo’s Sub-brand is now releasing the same patch for Realme X2 and Realme X2 Pro. The new staged rollout is taking place with the firmware version RMX1931EX_11_A.08 for Realme X2 and RMX1992EX_11_A.17 for Realme X2 Pro.

Thee update carries fix for various security bugs and hosts several performance improvements. Apart from the December Security patch, the update also optimizes the overall voice call quality with the third-party application. The nightscape photo quality is also enhanced with the recent update.

The new update also added dark mode fast switch toggles in the notification and a personal hotspot data consumption display. The battery efficiency is also improved while bringing on a standby mode. However, there are certain fixes for low sound while remaining connected to the AirPods2 headset, WhatsApp application dialog issue, and overexposure camera issue.

The update is rolling out to limited users in a staged manner. The broad rollout will commence soon after the successful rollout to these small groups of users. However, the users can manually check the update by heading to the Settings of your device.

Realme X2 and X2 Pro Specifications

Realme X2 and Realme X2 Pro features Snapdragon 730G, Snapdragon 855+ chipsets. There’s a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED, UFS 2.1 128GB, 256GB storage, a Quad Camera with 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors, a 32MP front camera sensor, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

On the other hand, there’s more 4000 mAh battery with 50W fast charging on Realme X2 Pro. The device packs a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1000 nits max brightness and 90Hz display, Quad camera with 64MP + 13MP+8MP+2MP camera and 16MP front camera, Snapdragon 855+ chipset, UFS 21 64GB and UFS 3.0 128/256GB storage.
