Realme X50 starts receiving A.08 update in China

Realme is on a roll this year, the company is consistently rolling out the latest security patches and incremental upgrades to most of its devices. Moreover, the company has launched a new entry-level Realme C3 smartphone in India. After rolling out the January security patch on Realme C2, Realme X2 Pro, it’s now time for Realme X50 to get a new incremental upgrade in China.

The new A.08 update brings various new fixes and optimizations to enhance the overall performance of the devices. According to the official changelog, the new update has fixed a low probability restart problem and tweaked the screen refresh rate switching.

It also resolved various internet connectivity related issues. The recent update optimized the network performance and stability along with enhanced WiFi network experience. The 5G switch problem is also fixed with the latest update.

The update has started gradual rolling out to the users. It will take a few more hours or days to reach each unit. It is recommended to switch to a WiFi network to save additional costs on the carrier networks.

Realme X50 Specifications

Realme X50 was launched earlier this year with a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset coupled with the Octa-core processor and Adreno 620 GPU. THere’s quad-camera rear setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel telephoto, an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel dedicated macro camera. The smartphone sports a dual selfie camera featuring 16-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. A 4200 mAh battery with 30W fast battery charging technology is present on the phone.
