Redmi 6 Pro which was launched back in 2018 starts getting an Android security patch for the month of December 2019. The update comes with the firmware version V11.0.5.0.PDMMIXM and it weighs about 366MB in size.
Last month the Redmi 6 Pro got the MIUI 11 with the September security patch that is based on Android Pie. Now in the latest update, the Redmi 6 Pro is getting December Security Patch along with some improvements. It is also packed with some fixes to couldn’t open notification settings or shade in some cases.
The Company says the OTA is rolling out in batches and it will take a couple of days time to reach every user of Redmi 6 Pro. So, don’t panic if the update is not popped up in the notification area.
