Redmi 7 Pro launch imminent as it passes through 3C certification

Xiaomi’s sub-brand  Redmi could be readying the launch of Redmi 7 Pro in China as it passes through 3C certification. It will be the successor to last year’s Redmi 6 Pro which is also known as Mi A2 lite in some markets.

The 3C certification for the alleged Redmi 7 Pro reveals the model number to be M1906F9SC. The certification further reveals the phone will support regular 10W (5V/2A) charging. That is all the information available from 3C certification about the upcoming Redmi 7 Pro. The above model is for the Chinese market as the global model will bear a different model number. Interestingly, the European variant of Redmi 7 Pro also gets spotted on the respective EEC certification.

There will be two models of Redmi 7 Pro for Europe according to the EEC certification. And they bear the following model numbers – M1906F9SH & M1906F9SG. Unfortunately, this certification too, do not reveal any specification of the upcoming Redmi phone. If Xiaomi is planning to launch the phone like last year, then Europe will get a rebranded version possibly dubbed as Mi A3 lite just like last year’s Mi A2 lite. Which is good for customers in that region as the phone will come with stock Android under Android One programme.
