In a bid to expand the portfolio, Redmi is coming with two new flagship devices powered with Snapdragon 855 soon. Already multiple leaks, teasers and rumours have pulled most Redmi K20 details, but are not officially confirmed. Lu Weibing, Redmi General Manager took to Weibo to confirm the presence of 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor on the upcoming Redmi K20.
Redmi is also using the same primary sensor as seen on the flagship devices. The Chinese manufacturer wants to compete with high-end smartphones in the camera segment. Lu Weibing also asked the followers who want to see a comparison of the Redmi K20 with other high-end smartphones in the market.
Redmi also teased the K30 ability to record slow-mo videos at 960 frames per second.
However, the Redmi K20 series is expected to ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. It includes 6.39-inch OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a display capable of a 1080p+ resolution.
Along with the primary 48MP Sony IMX586 camera, a 12 MP secondary camera and another 8MP camera will accompany it on the rear side. On the front, it will include a pop-up selfie camera with a 20MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
The Redmi K20 is expected with 4000 mAh battery and 27W quick charge adapter. The K20 is slated to launch as Poco F2 in markets other than China.
