Redmi K20 Pro sells over 200,000 units in its first official sale in China

Earlier this week, Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 were launched in the Chinese market. The company held first official sale of the flagship series Redmi K20 Pro which sold over 200,000 units in just 1 hour and 45 minutes. The device labeled as “Flagship Killer 2.0” packs top-notch specs at fairly decent price. The astounding sales figures speak loud and clear about brand’s popularity in the region. The smartphone comes in three different color options that include Flame Red, Glacier Blue and Carbon Fiber Black.

Redmi K20 Pro is powered by flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with either 6GB/8GB RAM and 64/128/256GB storage. In the display segment, the device packs a 6.39-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with notch-less design and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Talking about the cameras, the smartphone comes with triple-camera setup on the rear side that include a 48MP main + 13MP ultra-wide, and 8MP telephoto lens. It houses a 20MP front-facing pop-up selfie camera with AI capabilities to capture amazing selfies.

The smartphone gets juice from a 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast-charging support. Redmi K20 Pro runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top. It carries a starting price of CNY 2,499 for the base variant and goes up to CNY 2,999 for the top-end variant.
