Earlier this year, Xiaomi spun-off its Redmi range of budget smartphones into an independent brand. Soon after the launch of Redmi Note 7 in China, the brand’s CEO confirmed that it is working on a flagship powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Since then, the phone has been leaked and teased several times. But now, the complete specifications of Redmi K20 Pro (final name) has been leaked ahead of its announcement within a few hours.

According to the leaked specifications, Redmi K20 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. It will be available in four storage configurations ranging from 64GB to 256GB of internal storage. The 6GB RAM version will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM model will be only available in 128GB and 256GB storage configurations.

On the front, the Redmi K20 Pro will sport a 6.39 inches FHD+ (1080 x 2,340 pixels) AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The fingerprint sensor will be located under the display and will be of optical technology. The phone will come equipped with a triple camera setup which has become a norm this year. There will be a 48MP primary sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor with f / 2.4 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto lens with f / 2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone will come with a 20 MP motorized pop-up camera with f / 2.0 aperture.

Fortunately, the Redmi K20 Pro will have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will be backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4+. It will run on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie and will be available in Flame Red, Glacier Blue, and Carbon Fibre Black colour variants.

The Redmi K20 Pro is expected to be announced on May 14 in China rather than May 13 as first thought to be. It might get re-branded as Poco F2 and sold in India and Europe.
