After the whole Note7 batteries exploding fiasco, Samsung ordered the global rollback of all the Note7 units and the customers were left waiting for their safer replacement units to arrive. Looks like the wait for these customers in Australia will be ending soon as the replacement Galaxy Note7 stock is expected to reach their customers starting September 21st. This news comes from Samsung Australia itself.
The press release that contained this news also shed some light on how will the customers be able to differentiate between these and the defective units.
“New Galaxy Note7 packaging has clear identifiers on the box; a small black square on the white barcode label along with a white sticker with a blue letter ‘S’”.
Soon, you will also be able to just enter your device’s IMEI number into Samsung’s online portal and make sure the device you have received is safe.
