OnePlus 3T, device which OnePlus launched in the month of November with slight improvements over OnePlus 3. OnePlus 3T have few changes like Snapdragon 821, 128GB variant device and company has replaced front camera with 16 MP shooter instead of 8 MP.

Design
OnePlus 3T is designed same as that of OnePlus 3. While holding it purely feels holding an aluminium body chassis. The edges are soft cornered with round edges instead of pure squarish design.
On the bottom side of the device, OnePlus has embedded speaker grill, USB C port, headphone jack and a microphone.
OnePlus has added fingerprint in the home Button which is not pressable (feather touch). There are recent and back button on the both sides of home button, these are also feather touch buttons. On both the Back and Recent buttons there are two leds which glow when you press either of them. On the top there’s a speaker grill, front camera, light and proximity sensor with LED notification light.
On the left side of the devices, company has added volume controls and a slider for changing profiles (Silent/Do Not Disturb/ General).
Right side consists a SIM tray (Nano SIM 4G + 4G )and Power Button. It bears the anodised aluminium metal unibody design.
On the backside of the OnePlus 3T, 16MP shooter is embedded with LED flash.
Display
The OnePlus 3T comes with 5.5 inches Optic AMOLED Full HD capacitive touchscreen display. It has a display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels t a pixel density of 401 ppi. It measures 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.4 mm (6.01 x 2.94 x 0.29 in) and weighs 158 g (5.57 oz). The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Hardware
The OnePlus 3T runs on Android OS, v7.0 (Nougat). It powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset and Quad-core (2×2.35 GHz Kryo & 2×1.6 GHz Kryo) processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It is the same processor model that is used in the Google Pixel XL. The CPU’s performance cluster goes from 2.15GHz to 2.35GHz, but the power-efficient cluster stays at 1.6GHz. As for gaming performance over time, the OnePlus 3T expectedly maxes out games with 30FPS caps. Opening Games on the Oneplus 3T were really fast, even faster than the Google Pixel XL.
The device comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs a 64/ 128 GB of internal storage.
On average It uses 2.4 – 2.7 GB of RAM, if you use it for daily routine tasks. If you do gaming for longer hours than it touches 3.5 GB of RAM. It packs UFS 2.0 storage which is the fastest storage chip available at this time.
Software
It packs Oxygen 3.5.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In some regions, OnePlus is rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat based Oxygen OS 4.0. The User Interface of 3T is very fluidic, it is even more fluidic than that of the OnePlus 3.
OnePlus has made OxygenOs much more native to original Android design Language. Users can access the same iconography, notification pulldown and other Android N Features.
There are inbuilt features like App Lock, Gestures like “flip to mute”, double tap, “drawing O on the display” and various others. Clear All apps from the Notifications Menu is also present with much bigger icon in the center of the display.
Camera
In the camera section, it packs 16 MegaPixel rear camera and 16 MegaPixel front camera for selfies. The primary camera is capable of 2160p@30fps, 720p@120fps, Auto HDR video recording. It includes 1/2.8″ sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR, phase detection autofocus, OIS, LED flash. OnePlus confirmed that it is a gyro-based solution similar to what Google implemented.
Optical Image Stabilisation is also a step ahead of other devices available in the price range of this device.

OnePlus 3T handles exposure changes and saturation slightly differently while recording 4K video. There’s a great change on the front of OnePlus 3T, Instead of 8MP shooter, Manufacturer has added Samsung 3P8SP sensor with a resolution of 16MP.
Sensors and Battery
OnePlus 3T consists Li-Ion 3400 mAh capacity with Non-removable battery. OnePlus has confirmed that the battery chemistry and electrolyte solution is indeed different, so this is not the exact same battery despite being the same size. The OnePlus 3T is a Dual SIM device that accepts Nano-SIM. It has a feature of Fast battery charging: 60% in 30 min (Dash Charge). Sensors on the phone includes Fingerprint sensor, accelerometer sensor, gyro sensor, proximity sensor, compass sensor.

Conclusion
OnePlus 3T is a great device available in the market. You can buy it at half the price of Apple iPhone 7 or Google Pixel XL. Overall, It is an exceptional device at a reasonable price. OxygenOS 2.5’s simplicity is the best that a OEM can offer to its users. It gives near to stock experience with some needed tweaks. Vast types gestures also allows you to use the default launcher instead of the third party launchers.
If we talk about camera, then it is the best that is available at this price. It is OIS enabled camera with some extra advanced features.
It allows you to use software navigation button or hardware oriented feather touch buttons on the bottom.
It’s the best bet if you want to own flagship device even if you have money to buy other flagships.
