As per the new rumor, it is believed that Xiaomi is preparing their own processors. This is not for the first time that similar kind of news came up for Xiaomi.
According to a report from ETK China, Xiaomi is considering to build the chipsets for their deices to cut down the cost they give to companies like Qualcomm, MediaTek. In past, Xiaomi has signed a deal with Qualcomm where they are licensing some of their patents.
In actual, Xiaomi’s this decision might be an expensive option and is going to be lengthy process. If we think in a long run than it will help Xiaomi to save money and be independent upto some extent.
Additionally, in the month of August we heard similar kind of rumors regarding the Xiaomi’s native processors.
Well, there’s no backbone of this rumor, we’ll consider it as just a grain of sand in the desert.
