From a long time leaks and rumors are prevailing in the market about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite. Today we have a good news for all Samsung lovers out there. Samsung has just announced the device officially but surprisingly it carries a different name i.e Samsung Galaxy S Lite Luxury. The device shares a lot of things with the existing Galaxy S8 devices but the internals it houses are totally distinct. So without making any delay let’s get to the detailed information.
At an event in China, the device has been introduced officially. It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660(64 bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM along with an Adreno 512 GPU for Gaming. The performance of the device is not comparable to the S8 as it comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 835 SoC. Galaxy S Lite Luxury offers 64GB of internal storage which is not expandable sadly. The device runs on Samsung Experience UI based on Android Oreo and for protection, it is IP68 certified.
In the front, there is a 5.8(inch) Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels, 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Glass design deeply looks inspired by the Galaxy S8 and unfortunately, the Fingerprint Scanner position is identical too. The handset houses a single 16MP Camera with LED Flash, Aperture f/1.7 whereas in the front an 8MP snapper with LED Flash, Aperture f/1.7 is there. The device supports Iris Scanning and runs on a 3000mAh battery with a Type-C port for charging. At present, it is a China-specific device and is available in Burgundy Red color for a price tag of CNY 4000($625, 42000 INR).
