Samsung is back again to provide the latest Security Patch update. This time it started providing the July 2020 Security Patch updates in the month of June itself. Samsung has rolled out the July Security Patch first for Galaxy S20. Now, Samsung started rolling out the Security Patch for the month of July for Galaxy A50, and Galaxy Z Flip. The Galaxy Z Flip update is currently live in many markets of Asia, whereas, the Galaxy A50 update is rolling out only for the Portugal users. The new updates are gradually rolling out on respective smartphones.

Taking about the Galaxy A50 update first, the update is rolling out as the A505FNXXU5BTF5 firmware version. There’s no official release note or Changelog from the company. If this update adds any new features, you will be experiencing them while using your device. So, generally, the update houses several bug fixes, latest security patch, and enhancements.
Galaxy Z Flip update
The July 2020 Security Patch update for Galaxy Z Flip comes via F700FXXS2ATF3 build number along with general bug fixes, and enhancements to improve system performance.
Both the updates are rolling in phases over the air that means a set of random users will start getting the update now and after successful verification. Meanwhile, to check the update manually, navigate to Software updates from Settings and check the status of the update.
