Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 passes through FCC certification

Since 2015, Samsung had renewed the mid-range A-Series devices for the subsequent years. Until now, we’ve seen 2015, 2016 and the latest 2017 iterations of devices under the Galaxy A portfolio. However, whether a 2018 variants of the Galaxy A devices is on the card or not, wasn’t confirmed so far. But it seems, Samsung could renew the A-Series devices for the year 2018 as well. Since, Galaxy A7(2018) has just cleared the FCC certification, indicating its warm arrival.

It’s not that, we haven’t encountered any rumors or leaks of upcoming Galaxy A devices recently. Obviously, there are plenty of them. But, an FCC certification is a concrete proof that a device’s launch is around the corner. Here, Galaxy A7(2018) bearing the model number SM-A730F clearing the commission. Most probably the device will be launched around January the next year along with its siblings.

Infinity Display and 2018 Galaxy A-Series

Earlier, some sources have suggested that the 2018 models of Galaxy A devices could come with the Infinity Display. If that happens, the popular display technology that debuted with Galaxy S8/S8+ is making the way into mid-rangers. In fact, the rumors are worth believable though.

Courtesy to some reliable previous reports, we came to know that the Galaxy A7(2018) will board an Exynos 7885 SoC fabricated under 10nm FinFET process. The chipset which Samsung claims to be more powerful and power efficient than its predecessor Exynos 7880 supports Bluetooth 5.0 standard. Hence, the BT 5.0 is also debuting in a Samsung’s mid-ranger with the 2018 A-Series.
