Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ 2018 will go on sale in India on January 10

Unexpectedly, Samsung is the first one to come up with a new device to be launched in early January. The Samsung A8 and A8+ are mid range smartphones with Dimensions: 149.2 x 70.6 x 8.4 mm and 159.9 x 75.7 x 8.3 mm respectively. Both come with FHD+Super AMOLED display one with 440 PPI and another with 410 PPI.

According to sources, the new 2018 Samsung Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ are to be launched in India on Wednesday i.e. January 10th. But Samsung India has not yet confirmed any availability or pricing information regarding these two devices. Both these phones are Mid Range Android devices. But right now we did not have any teasers from any of the online retailers about these devices.

Moreover, Galaxy A8 and A8+ are the latest in Samsung’s premium mid-range devices. They are just below the Galaxy S series, the A-series devices give their customers some of the premium materials and performance of the more expensive segment without costing much. The only thing missing is Android O, the Samsung A8 and A8+ both will comes with Android Nougat, which is a bit disappointing. As some of the devices launched in 2017 are running on Oreo. So, we hope that devices after the launch the Oreo update soon.

The A8 and A8+ both feature Samsung’s new design language with tall, 18.5:9 displays with curved edges(not as much as the S series), metal frame and glass back. Both the devices are packed with 1080p resolution, It is packed with a 16MP rear camera and dual front cameras. Both phones powers an octa-core Exynos processor, with 4GB of RAM and 3000mAh battery.

In terms of battery performance the previous A series phones were good and had a nice battery optimization. The A8+ 2018 gets an optional 6GB RAM and larger 3500 mAh battery which comes with quick charging. The devices come with 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps and 720p HD video recording at 30 fps video recording.

However, there is no official announcement from the Samsung India. We will let you know the further details about the device as soon as Samsung comes up with Official announcements.
