Samsung Galaxy J Max Starts Getting February Security Update

Samsung is rolling out a February Security patch on its Galaxy J Max. It features a 7-inch display with a 800 x 1280 resolution and was released in August last year. The update comes with the build number T285YDDDU0AQA2. However, Galaxy J Max still runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

For Reminder, Samsung Galaxy J Max is powered by quad-core 1.5GHz processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. The main USP of the device as I wiritten above is its huge 7 inch display and 4000 mAh of battery. Galaxy J Max can run 9 hours on continuous use with this huge battery. It measures 186.9 × 108.8 × 8.7mm, and has 16GB expandable internal memory, and run on Touchwiz. The Samsung Galaxy J Max features an 8MP rear unit and a 2MP front shooter. It runs the dated Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
