After the Flagship devices Samsung starts rolling out Blueborne fix to its Galaxy J5(2016). The BlueBorne threat has exposed billions of smartphones, tablets, PCs, and even IoT devices worldwide, including Android, iOS, Windows, and Linux OS.
The update comes with the firmware version J510FNXXS2AQI4. It will fix Blueborne threat and the update is also packs with the August Security Patch. Other than this there is not much in this update. Although there are leaks about the Nougat update for Galaxy J5 2016. It might be rolled out very soon.
The Blueborne fix Update is currently rolling out in Europe. In coming weeks the update will reach other markets around the globe. The users in Europe who did not get the update notification yet, don’t panic it will reach you in couple of days. As always, you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > System Updates > Download.
You may download the update as OTA. Alternatively, you have an option to directly download the firmware from Samsung servers and install it manually on your device.
