Samsung Galaxy Note 4 May Don 12 MP OIS Camera

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 is not one of the best guarded device around, and we say so because we have another tipped piece of information about the upcoming phablet. Rumor has it that the Galaxy Note 4 may opt for a 12 MP OIS camera instead of the 20 MP ISOCELL or the 16 MP camera as listed on AnTuTu’s database. The 12 MP unit will offer a thinner frame and optical image stabilization.

note 4 rumors

Many people were expecting the OIS camera unit to feature on the Note 3 but to their disappointment, that did not happen. So people are now expecting the same from Note 4 but this too seems a distant dream, as dropping the resolution to 12 MP seems unlikely. Assuming that Samsung does drop the resolution to 12 MP for the optical image stabilization, the front camera will switch to a 3.7 MP unit.

Rumors also speculate that the 12 MP optically-stabilized camera unit will be manufactured at Samsung’s Tianjin factory, which could produce upto  million units per month.

The Galaxy Note 4 is set to be unveiled to the world in the first week of September at the IFA in Berlin and will be available in the market by September 25th, like its predecessor the Galaxy Note 3.
