Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts getting September 2018 security patch

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was recently released in August 2018 with a distinct feature of 512 GB of internal storage. Recently, the Note 9 users have reported that they have been receiving an new OTA update. The update carries the firmware version N960FXXS2ARH6. It is only available for users in some particular regions like Baltic region, Romania, Bulgaria Slovakia etc have received the new update.

Though for Note 9 users in other countries need not worry as the update will soon comes to them. It fixes some existing bugs and also updates the latest September security patch. The update also enhances the performance of the device by solving those vulnerabilities. Though the changelog even says addition of some new features. But the update is just 72 MB which means that there is less chance of any new feature.

If you want the update you can check that in the settings option manually or even use the VPN to download the update.
