Samsung Galaxy Note, Note + and Note 9 starts receiving February Security Patch

It appears the Korean giant has amended some policies regarding the security patch rollouts for its flagship smartphones. From the past couple of months, Samsung is consistently rolling out security patches for the high-end devices including Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series. Samsung has become so aggressive in providing the updates that it has left behind Google.

Similarly, the company is rolling out the February security patch to Galaxy Note, Note 10+ and Galaxy Note 9 smartphones. Most of the Exynos variants in Europe has started receiving the updates. Precisely, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ is receiving firmware N975FXXS2BTA7, whereas the Note 9 is getting N960FXXS4DTA5.

Google has fixed several security loopholes and improved overall system security. There are some general bug fixes and patches to improve system stability.

Primarily, the update is rolling out in the parts of Europe including Germany. So, it’s quite good to see the Galaxy Note 10 series getting February Security Patch even before the Pixel devices.

The users can manually try to get the update by heading to the Settings >> Software Update >> Tap on Download and Install option. We recommend you to switch to WiFi connections to save a few bucks over the carrier data connection.
