Samsung Galaxy On6+(J6+) reportedly launching in India within a week

It’s not a secret that Samsung is facing fierce competition in the Indian market. The Chinese firms, especially Xiaomi has become the nightmare of the Global Smartphone leader. To cope-up with the advancing Chinese smartphone dominancy, so far Samsung has been launching new devices in the market one by one or sometimes in bulk. Adding up to the line-up, another new Samsung budget phone is reportedly due to launch later this week.samsung galaxy on6+

As per the industry sources, Samsung would release its second online-exclusive smartphone in two months in the country. If the previous rumors and leaks are to be considered, the upcoming device ought to be none other than the Galaxy J6+. And, in India it’ll be marketed as Galaxy On6+. Obviously, the device should be an upgraded version of the Galaxy J6(On6).

Infinity Display and 4GB of RAM

Unfortunately, the report mentions nothing other than that the upcoming Galaxy device will feature Samsung’s signature Infinity sAMOLED Display with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. However, if the device to be launched is in deed the Galaxy On6+, then the previous firmware analysis by folks at XDA has more to tell us.

According to the XDA Developers, the device with codename j6plte – Galaxy J6+(On6+) is powered by Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform. Recall, the Galaxy J6 and On6 under the hood boarded Samsung Exynos 7870 SoC. Other revealed features are, a 5.6inch AMOLED display, a 4330mAh* battery and runs Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box.

*The information is as a result of rough calculation of voltage rate and other parameters obtain from the firmware. Hence, the practical battery capacity may be few mAH less than the provided.
