Recently Samsung quietly unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. The device is more of a variant, as it just replaces the chipset and features a Snapdragon 805.
This is a slightly late upgrade, as previous year Samsung had also Launched S4 LTE, which came with a better and faster LTE connectivity. And this time too S5 Plus brings in better LTE along with faster chipset. The original S5 launched with Sbapdragon 801 with a 2.5 GHz processor, and the Plus launches with the Snapdragon 805 with the same processor at 2.5 GHz. Also it features the new generation GPU, Adreno 420.
Also on the paper the S5 Plus has LTE cat. 6 instead of cat.4. So it gives you better download speed, i.e. 300 mbps. While on the other hand the original S5 gives you a download speed of 150 mbps. Rest everything in the device is same as the original flagship that had been launched. A 5.1 inch display with 1080p resolution, 2 GB RAM, 2160p video recording, 16 GB internal memory, and a 2800 mAh battery. As off now, the device will bee available in Netherlands, rest plans of Samsung about this device are not known yet.
