The whole “Note7 exploding batteries” fiasco isn’t doing any good for Samsung. Even though the Korean smartphone manufacturing giant has recalled all the units sold globally and now is eve rolling out an OTA update to prevent the batteries from exploding, the number of such incidents seems to be piling up, tarnishing Samsung’s image. So much so that new rumors have it that Samsung is now pulling the release date of their new flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 up in 2017.
Another rumor claims to have two model numbers of the Galaxy S8, suggesting there will be 2 variants of the galaxy S8. These model numbers, SM-G950 and SM-G955 suggest that one would be the flat screen version and the other the curved screen variant but then again these are rumors so take them with a pinch of salt.
