Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ starts receiving One UI 2.1 update

Finally, after the long testing, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ start getting OneUI 2.1 update. Recently both the phones get OneUI 2.1 update in Germany. The update comes with firmware version G960NKSU3ETF4 for Galaxy S9 and firmware version G965NKSU3ETF4 for Galaxy S9 Plus and weighs about 896MB in size.

The update on both the phones also packed with June 2020 security patch along with Samsung One UI 2.1. One UI 2.1 brings many improvements in the user interface of the phone. The features include Quick Share, Music Share, Camera zoom option, Single take, Night Hyper Lapse Mode, Shutter Button, Display setting – dark mode setting, Apply dark mode to wallpapers, AR zone, Smart selfie angle, Live caption, Quick Crop, Screen mode, Pro video mode, Resize image, Clean View, My Filters, Selfie tone, and AR Emoji.

Currently, the update is rolling out in Korea, and the rest of the markets will also get it soon. As the update is a big one so you must connect to a stable WiFi network to avoid the data charges. If you live in Korea and did not get the update then check it manually by going through the settings.

Even then if you did not get the update, then don’t panic it will reach you in some time. If you get the update, make sure you charge your phone up to at least 50%  before start installing the update.
