Well, we aren’t sure that Gear S2 will be updated to Tizen 3.0. As the Gear S2 is two years old device, so we think it might not get the tizen 3.0 update. But this hasn’t stopped Samsung from sending minor updates one sent today Samsung. The update is meant to increase battery life and also enhanced the security.
For now the update is available in Netherlands and when will it be available in other regions we don’t know. But yes what we feel is that it won’t take a lot of time making it available in other countries. The size of the update is really small. It is just 22 mb which can be downloaded in seconds.
Now to get the update you need to open the Samsung Gear app on your connected device. Then next step is clicking the settings options and then get into the About Gear option. And there you get the update.
