Samsung launches yet another entry level Android Phone from its J-Series i.e. Galaxy J4. The Galaxy J4 will be available through offline retailers in India. The phone is available in Black, Blue and Gold color and the phone’s price tag is ₹9,990 ($150).
Galaxy J4 features a 5.5″ HD Super AMOLED display technology that delivers the most vivid and colourful viewing experience. The phone powers with 1.4GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7570 processor and Mali-T720 MP1 GPU. It pairs with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16/32GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. Galaxy J4 packs a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and 5 MP front camera. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE and GPS. It also supports 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. Dimensions of the phone are 151.7 x 77.2 x 8.1 mm and it weighs 145g.
Samsung is targeting the affordable phones category with this phone. But now we think this phone losses some points. As at this price range some other manufacturers provides you a phone with atleast 18:9 aspect ratio display which is not present in Galaxy J4. Moreover, Galaxy J4 doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner and face unlock features. So we think it will be very tough for Galaxy J4 to succeed in the market.
