In latest Financial result report of the Q4 2016, Samsung Electronics has posted total revenue of at $44.3 billion. Out of this much amount Samsung has gathered 17.36% of profit which directly converts to $9.2 billion in the last quarter of 2016.

samsung-vs-appleSamsung has gained the momentum despite the ban on Note 7 due to fire incidents. These figures are surprising and are highest among the last two years. Currently, the Apple details are not out yet but it is expected the the profit margin would stand around 20%.

Apple’s share of profit has been drastically decreased if we compare it with the last year’s.

Additionally, The biggest gap between the two manufacturers was recorded two years ago, as ROS rates for Apple and Samsung respectively stood at 31.86% and 11.52% for Q4 2015.
