Samsung pay has been launched in Spain, Now Spain becomes the first country in Europe to have Samsung’s Payment service. Samsung Pay already launched in the US, South Korea and China.

“The opportunity for Samsung Pay in Spain is significant, due to the high smartphone penetration rate and the digitalisation of the banking sector,” said Celestino Garcia, corporate VP, Samsung Spain.

Although the Samsung Pay is operational in 4 countries now but according to the promise by the company i.e Samsung Pay will be made available in 7 countries, according to which Australia, Brazil, Canada and UK are still remaining. There’s no word yet on when these will join the ranks, but it’s starting to look like the company is on the right track.
