Samsung quietly launches Galaxy J2 2017 and cuts price for Galaxy C9 Pro in India

Samsung has couple of official news today, they have annocuned the new Galaxy J2 2017 just ahead of Diwali festival in India. Let’s see, what Samsung has cooked in Galaxy J2 2017.

Galaxy J2 2017 Launched

Samsung is the most preferable smartphone brand in the suburbs of India. The entry level Galaxy J2 series is the most popular one. Recently, Samsung updated the J2 series with a new 2017 edition quietly by listing it on their official website.

The Galaxy J2 2017 will be powered by Exynos Quad Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. On the front, it has a 4.7 inches Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution. For optics, it has a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera.

It also comes with Smart Manager which helps in deleting duplicate images and saved APK files. The whole package is backed by a 2000mAh battery. Finally, the Galaxy J2 2017 is priced at Rs. 7,390 and will be available in ‘Absolute Black’ and  ‘Metallic Gold’ color variants.

Galaxy C9 Pro Price Cut

Samsung also cuts the price of the Galaxy C9 pro which is now available at Rs. 29,900 down from Rs. 31,900 . To recall, it is Samsung’s first smartphone with 6GB RAM . Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and comes with 64GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable upto 256GB via microSD card. It has the same 16MP cameras on both front and rear.

It sports a 6 inches FHD Super AMOLED display and the fingerprint sensor is below the screen embedded on the home button. It also has USB type – C and supports fast charging. The Galaxy C9 Pro has a full metal unibody design and is available in Black and Gold color variants. Finally, it is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery.
